  • Custom properties in Notion allow teams to personalize their project management system by enabling custom views in project workflows

  • Suggested properties for Tasks include "Estimates," "Description," and "Dependencies"

  • Custom properties can be added by clicking Add a property on any Project or Task page and selecting an option from the dropdown list

  • When a property is added, it shows up on every item in the database as the empty or default value, waiting for details to be added
