Field of Technology


Information Technology is the fastest growing industry in the world. Technology has advanced so quickly it creates many new Branch of Knowledge. A domain that used to be a subset of other field is advancing so quickly, now has become a whole new Field of Technology.

All of those Field of Technology is connected and related to one another. In fact, a common practice in Game Development is already a combination of multiple field of knowledge who support and extend each other. Thus, learning multiple aspect of Technology is very important for us to keep up with new Technology and new Knowledge.

The list below are Field of Technology that are heavily related to Game Development

Technical Knowledge


Defining Technical Competency for Technology is a tricky aspect. There are 3 main reason that makes it quite complicated:

We want to ensure that every crew have strong Fundamental Knowledge and Practical Knowledge, so they can learn new technology and apply it into their daily work. Additionally, we also want each crew to have an Expertise Knowledge on certain field, so they can push our technology even further.

We need to categorize each competency into one of three category: Fundamental, Practical, and Expertise. To make it simpler, we group competency into certain Skill Group.
