Nobody likes managing low performance. And the name "Performance Log" is clearly offputting. Yet, every manager needs its help. When you manage a team, it is impossible to remember every concrete example of excellent or weak performance. Of specific situations which you want to address during a feedback session, or a career talk. Use the Performance Log as your private helper. If it gets into the wrong hands, it can give you some trouble.
