It's hard to believe that it's only been a year since we started our operations in India by way of the Automate acquisition. In that short amount of time, we are so proud of the progress we’ve made across all categories: customers, community, talent, and awareness.
While we’re excited to look back at what we’ve built, we are hyper-focused continuing to scale our Hyderabad site in the years to come.
Introducing our new leader, Uday Bhaskar
Today we are announcing that Uday has joined us as our Head of Engineering in India. Most recently, Uday managed Uber Eats engineering — and we are thrilled that he will bring his leadership and expertise of scaling teams and product lines to Notion.
Our long-term commitment to India
Last year we also saw our community come to life in India. Notion has been welcomed with open arms, and it has helped shape our growth and expansion throughout the nation. We have seen 5x growth in just two years, and we are proud of the events and community-led efforts that have taken a life of their own.

Celebrating our progress
On November 17 Notion India will be hosting a special evening at THUB, a startup incubator located in Hyderabad.
