Our goal is to empower both profile owners (job seekers) and viewers (recruiters/network) with valuable, actionable insights while maintaining clear user control and privacy.

1. Purpose of Data Transparency

Verfolia's core mission is to eliminate the "job application black hole" by providing unprecedented transparency into professional engagement. When a profile owner shares their Verfolia link, they gain insights into who is viewing their profile and how. To further enhance this transparency and empower profile owners with more granular understanding of genuine interest, certain premium or "locked" content within a profile may require a viewer to log in.

By logging in and consenting to share your username, you enable the profile owner to:

Identify specific individuals who have demonstrated a deeper level of interest in their profile.
Gain more actionable context about who is engaging with their premium content.
Facilitate more targeted and relevant follow-up or networking.

2. What Data is Shared and When

When you, as a viewer, click on "locked" or premium content within a Verfolia profile, a consent prompt will appear.

If you are not logged in: You will be prompted to log in or create a Verfolia account.
Upon successful login: You will be presented with a clear consent form.

If you explicitly consent by clicking "Yes" or "Agree" on this form, the following data will be shared with the owner of the Verfolia profile you are viewing:

Your Verfolia Username: This is the primary identifier shared.
Timestamp of Access: The date and time you accessed the locked content.
Engagement Metrics: Standard, aggregated, and anonymized metrics (e.g., time spent on the locked content section) may be associated with your username for the profile owner's insights.

3. Your Control and Rights

You maintain full control over your data sharing preferences:
