About this template
Creating a book is a long-term, multi-phase project. Many new authors don't have an appreciation for that and think writing the book is the entire project.
The reality is that the project encompasses four separate phases:
- Planning the book
- Writing the book
- Publishing the book
- Marketing the book
As a guide to these new authors, I designed a template that will assist them on their journey through the entire project. The template is not a how-to. Rather it provides a measure of guidance and advice while showing the author what vital information is required in each phase of the project.
