Jira

Overview

Jira helps teams plan, assign, track, report, and manage work and brings them together for everything from agile software development to customer support. With this integration, you can easily bring Jira into Notion and view the latest updates. Use a link preview to see Jira content directly in a Notion page, or set up a synced database to bring Jira boards and projects into Notion as databases – and use database filters, views, rollups, and relations to connect data from Jira across your Notion workflows.

How to use

  • To create a preview of Jira content in Notion, paste any Jira link into Notion, then select Paste as preview. You can also type /jira in any Notion page and a menu will appear, allowing you to paste links directly. If it’s your first time using Jira with Notion, you will be prompted to authorize the integration. Follow the prompts to complete the authorization process. Once authorized, you will see a detailed preview of the linked content

  • To sync data from Jira into a Notion database, copy a Jira link to a board or project, paste the link into Notion and select Paste as database. An empty database will show up with all Jira properties automatically added. The database will start populating automatically and continue to sync if you navigate away from the page.
