Release by Order is a warehouse execution strategy where outbound shipments are released based on individual sales, transfer, or outbound orders, rather than by wave, zone, or carrier grouping.

This method ensures that each order is processed and picked as a standalone unit, typically prioritized by factors such as order date, customer priority, or shipping deadlines.

1. Query the created order from the SO Management page.

1. Click on the Release button from the Action column.

1. Then the order status will be updated to “Released”.

1. An order picking task will then be generated. Can be seen from the Tasks List page.
