Cycle Count is the process of regularly counting a small subset of inventory items in specific locations or categories, rather than performing a full physical inventory. It’s a key inventory control technique used to maintain ongoing accuracy in stock records without disrupting daily warehouse operations.
Cycle Count tasks can be generated by selecting a Zone, Location Range, or Item Range. Based on the chosen method, the system creates the cycle count task. Users initiate the counting task via the RF Count module and update the system with the count results. Any discrepancies are moved to a Lost and Found bucket for reconciliation and are managed through the stock adjustment process.

Define and schedule inventory items or locations to be counted based on predefined criteria.
Warehouse personnel physically count and record inventory quantities at assigned locations.
Supervisors compare counted quantities against system records to identify and validate discrepancies.
Authorized personnel approve adjustments to system inventory based on verified count variances.
