Creating a Cycle Count Task is the process of initiating and assigning a specific inventory counting activity within a warehouse management system (WMS). It involves selecting targeted items or locations to be physically verified by warehouse staff, aiming to ensure inventory accuracy without needing a full stock take.

1. Go to Inventory > Cycle Count > Cycle Count Plan from the web app.

1. Click add.
2. Fill in the required fields with orange labels.

• Select warehouse from the list.
• Select customer from the list.
• Cycle count number is auto-generated.
• Cycle count type is set to Normal CC by default.
• Priority is set to Normal by default.
• Blind Flag is set to NO by default.
• Status is set to New by default.
• Enter the user count for the counting task assignee.
• Define the range of locations or items to perform cycle count.

1. Click save.
2. Then click on the release button to release the cycle count plan.

1. After releasing, edit and release button will be replaced with hold and close button.
