It is designed to minimize handling, reduce storage time, and accelerate order fulfilment—making it ideal for fast-moving, just-in-time, or pre-allocated inventory.

Step Action Description
1 Create PO (Purchase Order) Create a purchase order with the type set as Cross Dock to indicate items are intended for immediate outbound shipment.
2 Create SO (Sales Order) Create a sales order also marked with Cross Dock type to link it with the incoming PO.
3 Assign Cross Dock PO to Cross Dock SO Match the PO with the relevant SO at the order detail level to prepare for direct transfer.
4 Receive Cross Dock PO (via Mobile) Use the mobile RF device to receive goods at the warehouse; items are scanned and confirmed.
5 Put To Store (RF) Physically move the received items to a temporary staging or shipping area (not full storage) using RF device.
6 Ship Audit Perform verification or quality checks to ensure the items are correct and ready for shipment.
7 Shipping Final step where the items are loaded and shipped out to fulfill the cross dock sales order.
