General notes
- The process works like this:
- You claim a Transcription job by going to Home → Find New.
- Our AI model, Scribe, produces a first pass of the transcript.
- Your goal is to correct that first pass; depending on the task, this should be a clean / non-verbatim transcript (remove unnecessary elements like filler words, stutters, and irrelevant sounds while preserving the speaker’s message) or an accurate verbatim transcript (stay as close to 100% accuracy as possible and captures everything that happens in the reference audio or video clip)
- After you submit the transcript, a reviewer for your language reviews your work for adherence to the Style Guide (see more below), corrects any errors, and delivers it to the user or customer who ordered it.
- After review, you’ll see feedback on your transcript on your History page, and payment will be automatically added to your open invoice. You will receive email notifications once the review is over.
- Please review our Transcription Editor guide before you get started.
