Basic Expectations

Meet weekly your first month together.
After your first four sessions, meet with each student a minimum of once every two weeks for 30 minutes
Before each meeting, share an agenda with the student including your proposed points of discussion
When meeting a student, please come prepared with your video on and record the session using fireflies.ai, to do that add contact@wallstreetguide.net to all calendar invites. Please be in a quiet, well-lit, private place for all meetings.
Answer occasional ad-hoc questions from students in your group chat. Please keep conversations to the group chat - it helps us keep track!
Submit meeting notes, including your agenda, to this form within 2 hours of your meeting’s conclusion.
We have a bi-weekly RM meeting with the WSG academic team. This is mandatory.

We have a group of boutique investment banks, consulting firms, search funds, and private equity firms that we partner with for remote internships for WSG students.
- If you think your student would benefit, then reach out to Sagar about placements!
If you need to collect data (e.g., cornell alums in IB in the last five years), then please fill this form. We can usually get these data requests finished in about one week.

We process payments every month. After each meeting with a student, please submit your meeting notes here. Submitting this form allows us to record your meeting to process your payment.

We will have bi-weekly meetings of all recruitment managers and WSG full-time academic staff
- These are mandatory and will be used to track student progress, professional development for you, etc.

Understanding the roles

Role	Responsibilities
Recruitment Manager	• Meets with the student four times in the first month
• After the first month, the Recruitment Manager has ongoing biweekly check-ins with the student
• The Recruitment Manager ensures all steps, networking preparation, and CV reviews, and internship apps are completed
• The Recruitment Manager ensures the relationship with the Lead Mentor is successful
Lead Mentor	• The Lead Mentor has a standing bi-weekly, 30-minute meeting with students
• The Lead Mentor leads curriculum for students, including technicals, behavioral, case prep, etc.
• The Lead Mentor sets strategy with student, keeping track of applications with the RM + how they are submitting them, etc.
Case Manager	• Responsible for mentor assignments, for collecting data for networking, for questions about programs, and any details about payment, etc.

Director(s)	In charge of overall program quality. Will be available on slack for questions. Are often the first point of contact with students before they join!

View Your Students Progress | Student Interface

We have built a small dashboard to view student’s progress. In this, you can view students most recent meetings, past meeting notes, and their own assessment of their experience to-date. You can also edit your previous notes / write notes to yourself on their progress.
