Since 2005 we've been focusing on 6 knowledge areas to power our ability to initiate, facilitate, unite & power unlikely connections to inspire actions that create a fairer world, and in sync with our knowledge we've been refining 18 values on what it takes to be an unlikely mentor - to build bridges, more recently we've discovered the unlikeliest of teachers of our knowledge, our Professors who have become the ultimate guides for AIME's network..

Hope doesn’t come easily. Hope is a struggle. Hope is trying as hard as possible to build that bridge between reality and unreality. Dangerous to reign in, with tremendous depth, wisdom. Hope feels the heaviness of “hope.” That burden is a big burden. When we deify celebrity people, we say they’re different than us – Hope fits that mold. Hope is hard work. You don’t get to opt out of that. Hope is dealing with all the things you’re dealing with, and also carries this giant burden, saying/thinking: “Don’t make me carry this alone!” Hope is an exhausted optimist. A key phrase that depicts Hope’s contradictory nature: the sign of intelligence is holding two conflicting thoughts at the same time. Hope has (tragically) mastered this in her pursuit of starting Imagination University.
Eights are a body-based type who tend to take charge of situations and step into a leadership role. They are energetic and intense, and they can be intimidating at times to other people. Impatient with rules and regulations, they like to do things their way. By asserting control over their environment, they do their best to protect themselves and anyone else who is part of their family or group. Fairness or justice is a high priority. If they feel wronged, they will fight back since in their experience weakness or vulnerability will precipitate an attack from the outside world. The strength (and aggression) that are generated in this mission can be admirable, but also misapplied. The challenge for Eights is to combine assertion and control with interdependency and cooperation, as well as learning how to curb their often excessive appetites.
