Since 2005 we've been focusing on 6 knowledge areas to power our ability to initiate, facilitate, unite & power unlikely connections to inspire actions that create a fairer world, and in sync with our knowledge we've been refining 18 values on what it takes to be an unlikely mentor - to build bridges, more recently we've discovered the unlikeliest of teachers of our knowledge, our Professors who have become the ultimate guides for AIME's network..

Description
Einstein is...eccentric. It would be easier for her if things didn’t work out. She’s a pessimist, in that way. She’s also an accidental hero. You see, Einstein wrote a paper as a grad student; she saw something, she was kind of interested...and she decided in the late 1970’s to write her final paper in sociology. Einstein looked at the world and said: what if we built a bridge from A to C? It was this one moment of creative, brilliant lateral thinking. She made this one decision, and now she’s getting recruited by everybody to talk about building bridges. The problem is, she’s not sure it’s going to work. She only thought it might be possible for us to talk to each other. All day Einstein asks the questions: “Why am I here? Why am I a professor? The more I see the world, I’m not sure we can make a difference. I’m exhausted.” Einstein is tied to the narrative of her own creation. Einstein happened upon this idea and now she’s the “bridges” person. Einstein really just wants to be someone else and do something else – she’s not ONLY about building bridges!
Enneagram: #6 The Loyal Skeptic
Sixes are mental types who use their perception and intellect to understand the world and figure out whether other people are friendly or hostile. They focus on guarding the safety of the group, project or community. Sixes are good at anticipating problems and coming up with solutions. Knowing the rules and making agreements with other people is important, yet at the same time they tend to doubt themselves and question others. They can oscillate between skepticism and certainty, rebel or true believer. Some Sixes are in the "cautious" mode; they hesitate, they worry a lot, and they procrastinate. Other Sixes prefer to stay in the "strength" mode: they rush into action and they seek to brace themselves physically or ideologically as a way of overcoming their fear. As Sixes learn to trust themselves as well as other people, they become more flexible and they develop the courage to act even in the presence of doubt or ambivalence.
