Loki was raised in Miss Blissful’s Orphanage where children were harshly trained to prepare for adulthood, turning them into emotionless and robotic-like children. Loki, however, grew up into a rather strange and imaginative child despite the environment.
He dreamed of becoming a magician like his TV idol, Pierrot, and desired to see others’ smiles through their pain. One night, Loki was secretly practicing a fire trick which burned the orphanage. He managed to rescue the other children but abandoned the abusive caretakers, before running away.
On the streets, he encountered Pierrot, who discovered what he did. But instead of turning him in to the police, he acknowledged Loki for his ‘heroic’ deed and took him. Years later, Pierrot eventually let Loki take care of the Party Place and promoted him to its temporary new owner.
As often mentioned, Loki is a goofy, mischievous, and optimistic individual who has an odd sense of humor and tends to occasionally make a fool out of himself. He is extremely talkative and is known for his eccentric and easygoing demeanor. He would take any reckless opportunity to have fun. He takes pride in his career and can be pushy at times. Loki is also passionate when it comes to performing magic and is an artist at heart.
As the leader of the Party Clowns, Loki enjoys giving orders to his members in a non-professional way, but he doesn’t do this to fuel his leadership superiority. He likes it when his friends freely express themselves and act like true clowns. He doesn’t care if his performances fail as long as he and his friends enjoy it, showing how carefree he can be. Although he may not sometimes look like it, Loki is very dedicated and is overprotective to his friends.
Loki can sometimes come off as annoying and immature. He lacks proper manners, social etiquette, and has a habit of littering everywhere, much to Kiel’s fury. He sometimes shows a biased lack of sympathy and tends to neglect his responsibilities. Despite this, Loki is also surprisingly clever as he is observant. Even though he enjoys interfering with people’s business, he does so when he senses trouble needs to be solved as he believes that it is his job as a magician to take responsibility of people’s happiness.
Loki is skinny. He has messy red hair and possesses heterochromia iridium which caused his left eye to appear blue and his right, red. Loki’s neck and wrists have small healed scars and burns as a result of being injured from his reckless magic tricks.
In his clown fit, Loki wears a classic clown multicolor costume with beige, red, and blue aesthetics. He wears a big curly red wig. He wears his makeup with a big red nose and red lipstick.
In his magician fit, Loki wears a fancy dark blue tailcoat with cyan, gold, black, white, and red aesthetics. His top hat and trousers also have a darker shade of blue. He wears black socks, dark brown Oxford-style shoes, and white gloves. Red harlequins are painted below his eyes.
In casual times, Loki wears various of outlandish and eccentric clothing, expressing his nature. Although he likes colorful things, he often wears clothing with dull and muted colors.
Loki's specialty is to perform magic tricks which he uses to entertain dreamers or distract captors in critical situations. He claims that he summons real magic whenever asked about his techniques and likes to leave it a mystery to others. Sometimes his tricks get far too unreal, such as playing with fire fabric gloves and summoning poker cards while being completely bare and empty-handed.
They met after the Party Clowns surprise-attacked Ageha upon her arrival in Wonderland, leaving a negative impression on the latter, who was clearly afraid of clowns. Out of his proclaimed kindness, Loki gave the Party Clowns a whole new change which Ageha was very grateful for despite her remaining horror. Since then, they’ve developed a casual friendship. Loki is welcoming towards her and jokingly convinces her to be a clown much to her reluctance. He enjoys annoying her and butting into her businesses, much to Ageha’s irritation. Although Ageha is often annoyed by Loki’s hyperactive behavior, she acknowledges his selfless goals and sees him as someone worthy of idolizing. The two care for each other as they care for the Party Clowns and the Party Place.
On Loki’s first week as the owner of the Party Place, he was defended by Kiel after accidentally provoking a group of thugs and became mesmerized by his confidence and loud voice so he invited Kiel to visit the Party Place which the latter reluctantly accepted, initially used him as a guide to certain areas of Wonderland. Kiel was, at first, regretful of his decision but he eventually decided to work in the Party Place. They found their relationship rather troublesome when they discovered that they were complete opposites but still manage to maintain their rocky friendship till they’ve grown close and used to each other. Loki is aware that Kiel has slight infatuation towards him which he teasingly uses to frustrate the latter out of affection.
Lottie’s trauma brought her to Loki, who helped her move on from it and influenced her to become the sweet and bubbly ‘Lottie’ she is today. Lottie is very grateful to have encountered Loki and greatly admires him as a leader, whether he messes up as a leader or lacks leadership qualities. Loki also finds Lottie to be another version of himself as the two are both naturally optimistic and share the same vibes, much to Kiel’s worry. He’s very protective of Lottie and is emotionally attached to her, such as when he was highly against Lottie getting a ‘boyfriend’, worrying that she might soon get broken hearted. They've developed a very close bond due to their similarities and are each other's soulmates in a platonic sense.
As rivals, Loki and the VentriloTwins enjoy provoking each other. Although Loki takes their rivalry in a friendly manner, the twins truly intend to take them down. Or at least, only Six do. Nine has secretly taken a liking to the Clowns for their colorful and spontaneous behavior, while Six believes them to be messy and dirty. Loki couldn’t care less about what Six does to make them appear stupid and childish in public…since they already are. When the Party Clowns lost to the VentriloTwins, Loki didn't hold a grudge and congratulated them instead, which led the twins to reflect on their behavior. Since then, both sides developed a friendly and casual rivalry, this time, without the twins trying to take the Clowns down.
Loki and Martin have lived in the same orphanage but had barely spoken to each other. When they reunited, they found themselves sharing the same energy, vibes, humor, and brain cells as the two enjoy making fools of themselves in public and interfering with affairs. They also enjoy causing trouble as if they are childhood best friends. But their seemingly casual friendship is all an act to hide the fact that the both of them are against each other: with Martin willing to take advantage of his friendship with Loki, and Loki doing the same thing to discover his true motives. Both are also highly aware of each other’s intentions but they decide to put on an act, just because they want to. Martin also respects Loki’s goal of sharing happiness with children, often thinking had he were a child again, he would’ve loved the Party Place and the Clowns.
Amelia and Loki met at the Haven Hotel, when Amelia pranked the Clowns by disguising as a scary ghost which made Loki terrified. But as they got along, he saw himself as Amelia as the two enjoy pranking guests and wearing costumes. Amelia also enjoys targeting Loki as a victim of her pranks, knowing the latter is the easiest to scare. The two don’t think much of one another and they rarely interact besides their encounters in the Haven Hotel, but they are still good friends. However, sometimes, Amelia gets irritated by Loki’s noisy behavior as his existence scares the ghosts away, as Loki often questions Amelia’s people-pleasing behavior.
Pierrot was the one who took Loki in and adopted him as his son. In Loki's eyes, Pierrot is his inspiration and motivation and he is willing to do whatever it takes to become as talented, and also sneaky, as him. Pierrot considers Loki as the perfect heir to his Party Place, as foretold in the tarot readings that he performed. He raised him with all that he had with care and affection and would convince people that they were spiritually related. Their relationship is nothing more than that of a father-son bond. Loki is willing to overlook all of the suspicions that target Pierrot, including his suspected crimes in the past. They're willing to defy the government to protect each other from threats, which shows their incredibly close emotional bond.
Loki slightly reminds Ella of Lottie, although a little mischievous. She enjoys seeing his magic tricks and even asks him to teach her some. However, when Loki asks her about her background due to his nosiness, she merely shrugs it off as nothing important. Loki has been very friendly and welcoming to Ella since she first came to the Party Place and is even eager to turn her into a clown, much to the latter’s reluctance. He sees her as the ‘new Ageha’ as her personality traits are quite similar to the latter, except that Ella is much more sweet and gentle, and less feisty.
