The Kit Request Master is a structured configuration used to define and manage requests for kitting operations. In a Warehouse Management System (WMS), it helps standardize how kits are assembled, scheduled, tracked, and issued—whether for production, customer orders, or special projects.

In WMS, a "kit" refers to a collection of individual items that are grouped together to form a single SKU or assembly for sale or distribution. Unkit is reverse of kit, it ungroups into items. Kit master setting must be created before create kit process. This is one time setting. In future, user can reuse the setting for same kit assembly or disassembly.

How to Create a Kit Request?

  1. From the side menu bar, go to Kit/Unkit > Kit Request Master. Click on the add button.
