Car Manager Window

This tool provides a fast, editor-friendly workflow for managing all cars in the game. You can access it from the Unity toolbar via:

Tools → CarManager

Overview

The window is divided into two main areas:

  1. Car List Panel

    Displays all cars currently available in the game.

    Cars are automatically sorted ascending by price and rank for consistency.

  2. Car Data Panel

    A form used to add, edit, and remove cars through a clean, guided interface.

Adding a Car

Adding a new car requires following a few mandatory model requirements.

If your 3D model doesn’t follow these rules, the game will not handle the car correctly.

Model Requirements (Critical)

Once your model meets these conditions:

  1. Drag the model into the Car Model field.
  2. Fill in the car data fields (price, speed, handling, unlock requirements, etc.).

This ensures consistency across all cars and prevents runtime issues.


Editing or Removing Cars

This part is straightforward:

Only edit car data while not in Play Mode. Editing during Play Mode might not save changes correctly.
