Summary:

This proposal brings up to vote by the community the renewal of CanuDAO $8000/cycle payout for community management work, including discord server organization and maintenance, bots development and maintenance, support + onboarding and broader community tasks such as research on new community tools and best practices happening around the Web3 space.

This payout includes Zeugh’s dedication as community manager to JBDAO and the support of the other CanuDAO members whenever extra hands are needed on the server, as well as the research and studies made in CanuDAO that are supported by those other members and serve as constant updates on the possible upgrades we can make.

Risks:

CanuDAO is going trough a big internal reorganization and in the following couple weeks some of this support may be unavailable in it’s full capacity, being mostly reliant on Zeugh for about the next 10-15 days.

How have you contributed to the DAO?

• Organized and engaged in CanuDAO research about: improving multi-language communities, rewarding members and creating minimal communities to help new projects start
• Onboarded lots of new project creators and provided support to new members
• Reorganized the discord server to optimize new contributor and new member experience
• Researched, contacted and tested new tools to improve our task management and oboarding processes
• Reached out to developers to build a new proposal creation tool that is under development in it’s late stage and should be ready for use in the next couple of cycles
• Generally supported diverse need of the community in all kinds of areas
• Hosted twitter spaces with new projects to help new juiceboxes get visibility and give their members clarity on the configurations of their projects
• Helped new projects manage their own communities in the JB ecosystem

How do you want to contribute to the DAO going forward**?**

Zeugh will be:

• Keeping the discord structure updated with new tools that are constantly coming out
• Provide support for new members and new projects
• Help integrated different project in the ecosystem
• Provide support to the integration of new partners given the possibility of extensions in the new V2 of the protocol (like OlympusDAO who is already in touch with us)
• Further the research on tools for DAOs to optimize our internal processes
• Use my (rather small) social media presence to keep up the twitter spaces with new projects
• Help new projects with the basics for their communities
• Starting a podcast with other tool builders to incentivise the creation and propagation of new tools for DAOs that may come in handy for projects in the ecosystem and JBDAO itself

CanuDAO will be:

• Improving it’s business model and internal structure to provide better community management to new projects
• Finishing it’s community starter package to make it easier for JB projects to more easily launch a community after their project is created
• Researching on community management to improve the service we provide

What does success look like for someone taking on your role?

A growing community, with a good environment for building and supporting new builders to get easy access to the resources they need. A more intertwined ecosystem around the juicebox protocol
