As the community has grow 7x the last few weeks the demands on CanuDAO's support, mainly through Zeugh, have increased exponentially. This proposal asks to increase the recurring payout from $2,500 per funding cycle to $8,000 per funding cycle.
Canu's contribution can be divided in categories with each of them has adding a lot of value on enabling JB community to work and expand. Without contributions from CanuDAO in the areas of support, onboarding, tools research/setup/organization and bot development/support, Juicebox contributors would not be able to accomplish work that allowed the recent surge in JB success.
Zeugh has been active daily explaining Juicebox protocol and JBDAO to new members, answering doubts, pointing users to the right places, spending normally over 10 hours a day on the discord server to this end.
Zeugh has set up our Notion structure and is constantly leading/supporting the team updating and improving it.
Zeugh has been taking calls and meeting with JB projects to support their deploy and strategy, making it easier for new DAOs to efficiently run their own projects.
Zeugh has been in touch with the support team of the tools we use to request custom versions on the case of Guild.xyz, custom tokenization in tip.cc and general support and feature improving in notion.so
Zeugh has been researching and deploying bots on the fly as needs come up, making good use of his years of discord knowledge from pre-web3 gaming communities. This brought things like the translator bot that made it possible for us to reply the Chinese community even before we managed to get the translators. Other bots like sesh and mee6 are also setup and configured mostly by him.
Zeugh collaborated with @nicholas to tune the bots and tools settings based on operational needs for all the areas in which they found need.
Acalanto has been coming constantly to the server on demand when the bandwidth of the server increases and help is needed to do the same tasks as Zeugh does, as an extra pair of very competent hands in the times of urgency
Acalanto has been organizing the Spanish translation of the JB material
Phytann has been improving and fixing the CanuDAO helper bot as demand increases and the stress test demands new data structures and server improves.
The CanuDAO bot has provided live operations data to Discord members via the recent #heartbeat channel, which posts a message each time Juicebox contract Pay or Tap functions are called.
Phytann has made significant improvements to other tools like twitter bot and leads the Canu dev team in deploying other tools like "gm bot" that are in use by other projects in the JB ecosystem, completely free in some cases like the ConstituionDAO.
Keep up the speed with JB's growth, being able to better reward the contributors actively working in here (matching the S-class CM market salaries) with 60% of this value, and directing the other 40% to CanuDAO internal team of researchers and devs, to further improve our knowledge on community.
My proposal is to increase Canu's cycle payment from $2,500 to $8,000.
It's also worth reminding that this payment goes as investment in Canu, generating $CND. Hope that with time this can prove worth the trust.
