Here’s my update on Week 2 of my project on how to use Zendesk to streamline customer support efforts, if you want to see more about my project click here!

Main Focus

My main focus for this week was to find a company that lacked good customer service with a chatbot,  and I wanted to show why Zendesk is a good solution. I also wanted to create a Loom video to demonstrate how to set up the chatbot and how to view and operate messages from customers.

What I learned

This week I learned how to successfully install Zendesk to a website and how to view and operate the messages that were sent from customers. I also learned how to customize and design the chatbot to reflect a company’s branding

What I accomplished

My goal this week was to find a website that needed a chatbox and I felt Chrono24 ****was a good choice due to the number of questions they probably get asked about their service.

My other goal was to find and learn how to use a chatbot that I was comfortable using. I chose to use Zendesk because of the many features it has like automatic messaging and creating snippets for faster answers. I also created a loom video to demonstrate how to install it here.

My Plans For Next Week

The plans I have for week 3 of my project are to make snippets using a Zendesk feature or also use TextExpander to make replies faster and easier so you don't have to type the same reply over and over, which would definitely save time. I also want to set up a trigger message that would send messages back to customers who activate the trigger with keywords in their message.
