I've experimented with creating immersive interactive devices using buttons, an Arduino UNO, and LED light strips.
As I study Physical Computing, I'd like to experiment with larger and more interesting mechanical art installations, such as bionic humanoids, interactive musical instruments, or the integration of gaming and hardware. I'm eager to collaborate with anyone who's interested, whether they're artists or art creators.
The interactive logic involves pressing a button externally to trigger a random red breathing effect on nine internal LED strips. The LEDs are powered by an external variable-voltage power supply. A three-axis servo is also embedded to secure the Kinect, also powered by a variable-voltage power supply. I used a custom breadboard and unique soldering techniques to give the black box interior a distinct aesthetic.
