This is how Simon initially reads and mispronounces Raul’s name (As many characters likely will). Overall Tone
This series features a very eccentric cast, and while we want these colorful and varied personalities to shine through, we would also like for their performances to have a “natural”-sounding” bend to them. The idea being, you could believably find people who actually talk like this in real life.
Some characters speak the way they do because of past pain or trauma, so they can switch from funny/quirky to serious and emotional without it feeling sudden or out of place. (Please find character information in each character card below)
Variety range of emotions is the heart of the show.
