Once you’ve joined our roster, whether through an audition or cast role, we often bring actors back across multiple characters, series, and projects. 3 How is payment handled? At the end of each month, we’ll send you a summary of your completed word count. If all looks good and you don’t flag any issues, we’ll go ahead and process payment. Payments are sent via PayPal within the first 5 business days of the following month. Work & Payment
4 Where is StoryCo based? We’re a U.S.-based company, but we work with voice talent around the world. All communication and delivery are handled remotely. Work & Payment
5 What’s the typical scope of work for a role? It varies, but for major leads, you might voice tens of thousands of words across hundreds of episodes. Lead roles typically take about 1–2 months to record, with an additional month for reviews and pickups, while supporting roles may come in on a rolling, weekly basis. By accepting a role, you’re committing to the project’s full planned duration to help us deliver the story smoothly and consistently.We’ll always share the scope upfront so you can decide if it fits your schedule. If the project later expands (e.g. a second or third season gets greenlit), we’ll check in with you. If you’re unable to continue, you agree to let us re-cast the role so production can move forward. 6 Can I request not to voice certain types of content? (e.g., violence, swearing, sexual themes) Definitely, just let us know your preferences or boundaries upfront. We’ll always respect them when casting. Work & Payment
7 Will I need to sign a contract? No separate contract is needed. You’ll review and accept our terms and conditions when creating your StoryCo Studio account to start voicing - which covers payment, usage rights, and ethical voice handling. 8 Can I audition for future roles? Right now, we match actors to roles based on your portfolio, demo reels, and past collaborations with us. We’re working on making available roles public in the future so you can audition directly! Work & Payment
9 Will my voice be used to train AI or cloned in any way? No. Never. Your recordings are used only for this project and will not be used to train AI, generate synthetic voices, or create voice clones. We do not allow any form of voice duplication likewise - only the original actor’s performance is accepted. We’re committed to ethical voice use and protecting your rights as a performer. 10 Who owns the recordings? Once approved, your recordings are licensed to StoryCo for use in the project. You’re welcome to include final clips in your demo reel or portfolio, with credit. Rights & Legal

12 What if I don’t have a professional studio? You don’t need a full vocal booth, but we do ask for a setup that meets a few key standards:• A professional-grade USB or XLR mic setup• A quiet recording space with minimal echo• Basic acoustic treatment (like foam, blankets, or padding)• A pop filter to reduce plosivesIf you’re unsure about your setup, feel free to send us a quick test. 13 Will I get live direction or self-direct? You’ll self-direct using our script and performance notes. If something needs adjusting, we’ll follow up with clear notes for pickups, but no live sessions are required. Recording & Tech
14 Can I ask for pronunciation help? Totally! We provide IPA or audio guides for all character names, and native speakers are available to help with any language that comes up. Recording & Tech
