<aside> ๐Ÿ’ก Emerson Collective and XQ Institute partnered with MeshEd and Betaworks for a two-day event, culminating in a workshop on the transformative role of AI in "High School Redesign." XQ shared strategies from Project-Based Learning to new learner competencies. The goal was to bridge AI innovators with educators and spread these insights.

This wiki compiles insights from experts in education, ed-tech, venture capital, and design thinking, aimed at understanding AI's role in education. The summit, produced by the Emerson Collective and XQ Institute in partnership with MeshEd and Betaworks, served as a platform for diverse stakeholders. It focused on actionable insights, and navigating ethical complexities and opportunities in AI.

<aside> ๐Ÿ’ก The opening Saturday event, attended by ~200 people (including 20 NYC High School Seniors), featured curated demos across educational stages, facilitated by thought leaders. Real-time sentiment analysis provided feedback on AI's merits and classroom applications. The gathering aimed to cultivate curiosity and community engagement, rather than advocating a single viewpoint. The materials in this document are meant to be shared and were built in a spirit of transparency and a belief in the power of collective intelligence.

An Impact-Effort Matrix guided decision-making, assembling a cross-functional team of experts. The day involved generative brainstorming and sentiment analysis, resulting in real-time reports by participant teams, intended as creative provocations for the field.
