Perks

The perks outlined in this section are available to all teammates, regardless of the country they’re based in.

Time & Flexibility Perks

🏡 Work-from-anywhere flexibility

Sourcegraph is a global team and we attract top talent worldwide - from San Francisco to Sydney and beyond. We value flexibility and make it easy for teammates to work from wherever they’re most productive. At the same time, we recognize the importance of in-person connection. We bring teammates together regularly for all-company offsites (Merge), team meetups, hackathons, and other events.

There are a few locations where we can’t hire - read about them here.

🌴 Time off

We offer flexible PTO and encourage teammates to take at least 30 days per year to rest and recharge. Read more about our time off policy here.

Should a teammate need additional time off for personal reasons, you can read about our resources for medical or personal leave.

✨ New year refresh (shutdown week)

We observe a company-wide shutdown between December 25th and January 1st. This is a dedicated time to step away, recharge, and reset before the year ahead. We are a high-agency team - if you prefer to work during this time, you can. For teams that require coverage, we will provide clear guidance and ensure teammates are recognized and supported for working during the week.

You can read more about our shutdown week here.

Wellbeing & Support Perks

🏃 Wellness (Annual Value: $1,500)

A healthy mind and body are critical to doing your best work. We provide a $125/month wellness stipend, which can be used at your discretion - including fitness, therapy, classes, massages, and other wellness-related expenses. This stipend is auto-added to your paycheck. You can find additional resources regarding wellness and mental health here
