We value flexibility and make it easy for teammates to work comfortably from wherever they choose. At the same time, we understand the importance of face-to-face interactions, so we bring our team together regularly for all-company offsites, hackathons, team meetups, and community events. In addition to remote flexibility, we offer co-working spaces in San Francisco, Denver, and Austin, along with a home office budget and a $500 monthly stipend for co-working, transportation, or other office expenses.

💛Mental Health
We understand the significance of prioritizing mental well-being, especially in challenging times. We value and support our teammates’ mental health and wellbeing. Sourcegraph offers Mental Health support through multiple avenues to meet each teammate's individual needs. We offer a reimbursement up to $250 annually. For more details, see here.
👪 Family planning support We value and support teammates at all stages of life. We ensure that all teammates are afforded at least 16 weeks of paid parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child (Sourcegraph will bridge any gap of unpaid parental leave, so coverage details vary by location), and a reimbursement of up to $25,000 USD for family planning, building, and support services through Carrot and Carrot wallet. Receipts for any expense over $25 are required. Family planning services apply to all teammates, their spouse, and/or domestic partner.
📚 Professional development In addition to on-the-job training, we offer a $1,000 yearly reimbursement for educational opportunities (such as courses, extended education, books, conferences, etc.). We also hold detailed, annual 360 degree Impact review cycles for all teammates. Receipts for any expense over $25 are required. We also offer all teammates a Hone membership which provides access to interactive classes and training programs. With a focus on leadership and development, these classes offer all teammates opportunities to enhance skills, connect with experts, and collaborate with peers.
