About this document

This is an example of the deliverables you receive at the end of a Discovery engagement. It is based on a fictional project ("FitMatch") and is meant to show the format, depth and structure of the artefacts you will get — not to serve as a price list or template for your specific product.

A Discovery engagement produces two distinct artefacts:

  1. Part 1 — Product Requirements Document (PRD) — the functional and technical specification of the product, including architecture sketch, data model and internal timeline.
  2. Part 2 — Build Proposal — a commercial document based on the PRD, describing scope, milestones, payment structure and delivery timeline for the Build phase.

Pricing is intentionally omitted from this example. Actual figures are shared in the Proposal delivered at the end of your Discovery engagement, calculated on the specific scope defined in the PRD.
