Careers at Notion

Humans are toolmakers by nature, but most of us can’t build or modify software — arguably our most powerful tool. We’re on a mission to make it possible for everyone to shape the tools that shape their lives. Then we’ll all be able to tackle the world’s problems better, together.

What we value

Put users first. Our decisions and priorities come from working backwards from our users’ most important problems.

Dedication is contagious. Success depends on our blend of deep caring, effort, and optimism. We’re energized to work together.

Feedback is a gift. It is core to our culture, always given in service of helping each other grow and get better.

The best companies bring together diversity in race, age, physical and mental ability, sexuality, gender identity, ethnicity, perspectives and ideas. And people do their best work when they feel like they belong — included, valued, and equal. This is the Notion we want to build, where everyone brings their full selves to work knowing that they’ll be heard, championed, and supported to succeed. We hope you’ll join us.

Questions & answers

When is Notion’s team planning to be back in office?

If I don’t see a role listed in a city I am currently located in and I am not open to relocation, can I work remotely?

At this time, we are not hiring for remote positions. We have small teams so working in one place helps us go faster and solve complex problems together.

Are you hiring remote contractors?

We are not hiring remote contractors at this time.

Do you cover relocation costs?

If you’re based elsewhere in the U.S. (or internationally and you are authorized to work in the U.S.), we’ll help cover some of your relocation expenses to whichever city your new role is based.
