I chose to work at Greenacre because of my great love for the outdoors, and the belief that nature is the perfect space for communities to be built. Greenacre is a beautiful area filled with innovative initiatives and brilliant minds all working towards a green, sustainable future. I had such a lovely time interning here, and learned so much about biodiversity, community-building, project execution, and radical collaboration. This was so much fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the space grows!

Vadim Dunne - Summer Intern 2025/26
After studying sustainability for a few years I really wanted to become apart of something related to my degree. That’s when I came across Greenacre, and it was such a change from I had done before. I found It to be a very creative space, with a diverse range of tasks, from hands-on outdoor work, to desktop research and collaborating, striking a great balance.

I chose interning at Greenacre because of the wide array of opportunities and tasks available. Nowhere else is there an internship that involves such wide array skills and learning experiences from mushroom growing and landscaping to laser cutting and 3D printing. The Outdoor aspect of working with Greenacre has definitely made me more active and made me want to explore working outdoors more.

Riya Sunny - Explorer 2024/25
Working as a greenacre explorer was one of the most creatively liberating work I’ve ever done. Not only did I get to work on a topic I was passionate about, which was sustainability, I also got to work in a team and come up with out of the box solutions.

Being an explorer at Greenacre has been a brilliant experience. We are given a lot of freedom to explore new ideas and collaborate on projects for Greenacre. Working here has taught me a lot about how sustainability projects are managed in real life and helped me to discover my career path after university. (50 to 60 words or less)

Clara Weldon - Explorer 2024/25
Working at Greenacre as a sustainability explorer has given me the freedom to be innovative and creative with my ideas for the space. No idea is too crazy, and the fellow explorers help to bring your ideas to life. The responsibilities we are given challenge us but are never too out of reach, there is also ample amounts of support available if needed.

Working at Greenacre has been a thrilling experience, marking my first time in close proximity to nature. I've gained insights into the importance of communicating sustainability concepts, I got a chance to do that here through my design and illustration work at the Innovation Academy. I'm eager to contribute to more projects in the future.
