Overview. Each player finds ways they are afraid of being seen, socially. The group then agrees to support each other in trying out those »out of character« selves, and reflecting on the experience.

Cocktail Party Version. During Step 3, half of the group practices being "Out of Character" for 5-10 minutes while the other half are just their "normal" selves. The others can compliment anything they liked about what the person did or said (the character, not the acting). Then the groups switch.

Full-On Party version. We play a 3 hour version of this game in a party format. There is a bare bones outline written up. If you are on the slack, ask Marina for more information.

Work version. See Out of Character @ Work.
