Hiya! My name’s Daphne and this is a space for me to share more about me, what I’m working on, and lots of corgi photos!
I’ve been a startup operator, Chief of Staff, and founder since falling into the Sydney tech scene in 2016 by accidentally signing up to a hackathon. My favourite environment is working with & in hyper-growth, innovative organisations as it means I can deliver high-impact work at speed, test & iterate with new processes & tools, and everyone is invested in working towards a shared mission.
I am a Type 2 Enneagram (The Helper), and my top 5 StrengthsFinder themes predominantly center around Execution & Relationship Building - as a result, I'm a big believer in GSD & bias to action!
Recently, I’ve been thinking about what the next iteration of an ‘organisation’ will look like. The era of AI has arrived - how can we utilize these tools to transform into an innovative, creative society? If we use this technology correctly, companies can achieve the same, if not greater, impact with only a fraction of the capital and people - what possibilities would open up for us if more individuals were creating things, rather than simply performing tasks that are now automated? If you have any thoughts I’m all 👂s - if this is also on your mind, I recommend this book as a starting point.
