My time at GCSU was packed with classes, extracurriculars, and several part-time jobs. In addition to earning a 4-year degree in history, I worked part-time as a docent at Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion. I also served in several volunteer leadership and internship positions in a student organization. By my last semester, I was researching and writing my senior thesis, taking my last remaining credits, serving as a volunteer intern, working part-time at the mansion, AND completing an internship for credit at the Atlanta History Center on Mondays & Fridays! 😅 I learned early how to thrive on a full schedule.
