<aside> 📌 I'm building a Grant Proposal Language Library web app. This page is one installment of my weekly updates, which I have no doubt you will find to be riveting and insightful. And if you don't know what I'm talking about or what this is, you can read about what I'm building and why over here.

There's this guy, Gregory John, who teaches courses on designing in Bubble. He's kind of a legend, apparently. But I'm a designer, so I figured I don't need what he's selling, I'll figure it out on my own.
Turns out, though, Bubble is weirdly unintuitive in how you design stuff, and if you want to build a responsive app, you actually have to learn how to do that.
So I broke down and signed up for Buildcamp (his membership thing), which gave me access to a bunch of courses and tutorials and a book about designing in Bubble. I paused on planning out my app and focused on learning the ins and outs of the system from a guy who knows.
The course is 10 hours of meditative, nerdy glee. Greg has this slow, measured way of speaking, and a sweet English accent, and he never stutters or misspeaks. Just clear, concise, supportive instruction. At points, you can hear seagulls in the background. And just look at those Jesus vibes. Fucking delightful.
