How different fonts display different emotions and tone, the font used for a brand can effect the way that it communicates with its audience.
A lot of brands recently rebranded to appear more modern and they lost all the style and personality that they had, with many of them starting to look very similar, many very quickly started to revert back to the branding that they had before.
We did a task where we were asked to create a persona based on a random typeface, for this i got the domaine font, for this i wanted to create the persona of someone is quite elegant and refined while also being social. I choose this personality based off what the font was originally created for, which was the packaging of a wine company, and because it continued to be used for marketing and packaging after this. The style of the font also affected the persona that I created because it many different versions that were made to fit different contexts, also because it is a serif font I considered it a fancier font than some others.

We did this task to try and understand the personality and tone that a font can display.
