These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Obol, including the Obol iOS app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Obol, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Obol is a personal expense tracking app that helps you log expenses, manage budgets, review spending patterns, create reports, and use optional Pro features such as iCloud Sync & Backup, recurring expenses, category budgets, and household sharing.
Obol is intended for personal budgeting and informational purposes only. Obol does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice.
Expense and budget data is stored locally on your device unless you enable features that use iCloud. If you enable iCloud Sync & Backup or household sharing, your data may sync through your private Apple iCloud account. Obol does not operate a financial account, payment account, bank connection, or transaction-processing service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into Obol and for maintaining your own backups where appropriate.
Your use of Obol is also governed by our Privacy Policy: https://www.notion.so/Privacy-Policy-34c155407d96800e8352eb7b2ed3fcad?source=copy_link
Obol may offer optional paid features through in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests according to your App Store account settings and Apple’s terms.
If you purchase an auto-renewable subscription:
Prices, subscription periods, and available plans are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country or region.
Obol is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless we provide a separate custom license agreement.
