Subject: Skywild is coming to K&E
Preview: Every kid deserves camp
Every kid deserves a summer camp experience. It’s why we partner with Mickey’s Kids and why Scott works so hard in Washington That’s something I’ve believed for a long time, and somehow the belief just keeps growing and growing every year.
Which makes me pumped for this announcement.
This summer, Skywild is running at K&E after our summer.
Skywild runs week-long overnight camps for autistic kids ages 7-15. They've been doing this in Michigan and Pennsylvania since 2010. This August, they're bringing their program here for one week.
I've been working with some version of Skywild since 2014. Breezy, who runs Skywild, is my girlfriend. She's the absolute best. And the work they do matters.
Skywild campers do everything you know from K&E. They climb the ropes course, shoot archery, go canoeing, tie-dye t-shirts, go fishing, roast s'mores, sing, dance, and swim. All of it.
The difference is how the program is structured. Daily schedules are highly predictable to ease camper anxiety.
Activities are flexible and choice-based. Staff ratios are kept intentionally low, about 2:1 camper-to-counselor. Plus, the Skywild leadership team rocks with behavior analysts, teachers, nurses, doctors, and youth development professionals.
The Details:
Dates: August 17-22, 2026
Cost: $2,500 (scholarships available)
Ages: 7-15
If you know kids with autism who are looking for the true blue summer camp experience, we'd love to have them.
Breezy can answer any and all questions about the program and definitely will help families figure out if Skywild is a good fit.

Every kid deserves summers at camp. And we want more kids to experience that at K&E this summer.
