Helpful Tips
- Instead of creating a new page, duplicate the Template page when you create a new sim so that your page is formatted the same across all sim pages
- There are different views listed at the top of the gallery. These are “World” and “Status”. “World” Allows you to select one or multiple of the (currently) 28 worlds and view all of the sims you have created in that world. “Status” allows you to view the sims you have made by their completion status. In order for these views to work, you need to fill in each respective property when creating a sim in their page. The properties are at the top of the page below your sim’s name and all you have to do is click on them and then select the option that goes with your sim.
- For households that house only one sim, it is up to you if you’d like to make them pages in both the “Sims” and “Households” pages as it won’t affect anything on either page negatively either way.
- In the sim’s page, instead of deleting an image and inserting your own, select the “replace” option on the image that is already there. This keeps your image in the same location* as the image you are replacing.
- There is a property on the top of the sim page that lets you import the image you would like to use as a cover image for your sim on this page. The property (cleverly named “Cover Image”) Is a hidden property and all you need to do to access it is click on the arrow that says “1 More Property” just below your sim’s name. You can add multiple photos to this property if you’d like, but the only one that appears on this page is the one currently at the top. You can rearrange the image orders by pressing the 6 small dots that appear next to the image.
- Need to find a specific sim? The gallery view has a search bar in the top right that allows you to search for any sim that you have made if they’re in this database.
- Feel free to delete these tips if you’d like :) all helpful tips can be found in the “Helpful Tips” page **here** if you ever need them again! Happy simming <3

*****The circle image has an extra step that the others do not. When you replace the circle image with your own, it will revert to its original square/rectangular form. In order to fix this, all you have to do is select the “Crop” option on the image and in the top left of that menu there will be the option to make your image a circle once again.
