Main Page Helpful Tips
- The buttons in the top left act as a “hub” for all of the pages available to you that allow you to create and detail sims, their houses, clubs, and holidays. There are other hubs linked to this one in the other pages. This means if you edit any of the hubs in any page, your changes will be made to every hub in this notion template.
- Clicking the buttons will open their pages in a center view. To open them full screen, click the diagonal arrow that appears in the top left.
- You do not need to access the “Important Pages” page unless you need the helpful tips or numbered world maps. Other than that, the page holds links/information that the hub buttons already give you access to.
- The “Helpful Tips” page holds all of the important tips from all pages in case you want to go back to them but have already deleted them elsewhere. You can find this page by clicking on the words “Helpful Tips” on any tips section on any page they appear.*
- If you want to link your own Spotify playlist or song, all you need to do is hover over the already present playlist; press the 3 dots, click “replace” and then select “embed”. Once in this menu you can copy and paste the link to any song or playlist you want.
- To replace the Pinterest bookmark with your own; delete the previous one and start typing where it used to be. You’re going to type “/Web Bookmark” click the option that shows up and you will be prompted to insert the link you want to bookmark. Once you have, select “Create Bookmark” and you’re good to go.
- Drop any images you’d like to keep together in the Photo Gallery!

Builds Page Helpful Tips
- Instead of creating a new page, duplicate the Template page when you create a new build so that your page is formatted the same across all build pages
- There are different views listed at the top of the gallery. These are “World”, “Lot Type”, and “Status”. “World” allows you to select one or multiple of the (currently) 28 worlds and view all of the builds you have created in that world. “Lot Type” allows you to sort your created builds by the type of lot that they are. “Status” allows you to view the builds you have made by their completion status. In order for these views to work, you need to fill in each respective property when creating a build in their page. The properties are at the top of the page below your build’s name and all you have to do is click on them and then select the options that go with your build.
- In the build’s page, instead of deleting an image and inserting your own, select the “replace” option on the image that is already there. This keeps your image in the same location* as the image you are replacing.
- There is a property on the top of the build page that lets you import the image you would like to use as a cover image for your build on this page. The property (cleverly named “Cover Image”) Is one of the hidden properties and all you need to do to access it is click on the arrow that says “1 More Property” just below your build’s name. You can add multiple photos to this property if you’d like, but the only one that appears on this page is the one currently at the top. You can rearrange the image orders by pressing the 6 small dots that appear next to the image.
- Need to find a specific build? The gallery view has a search bar in the top right that allows you to search for any build that you have made if they’re in this database.
- For me, numbering the lots in each world helps me keep track of them. The Willow Creek numbered map is in the Template page, but if you want or need the others, you can find them here
- Feel free to delete these tips if you’d like :) all helpful tips can be found in the “Helpful Tips” page **here** if you ever need them again! Happy simming <3
