Defined, mental health refers to how you feel about your relationships, your ability to deal with challenges, and how stressed, calm, dissatisfied, pleased, happy, or sad you are. It entails more than simply avoiding stress, worry, and sadness. Mental health concerns positive habits more than positive feelings and healthy tools to face obstacles more than the absence of challenges. Though we frequently consider mental health secondary to physical health, the two are inextricably linked. Taking care of oneself means looking after your mental health in whatever way suits you best. It can include self-help and de-stressing tactics for some while talking to a professional for others. Whatever works for you, taking care of your mental health can help you live well and give you the best tools to face whatever life throws. As a result, Sama Jeeva has created this self-help guide to guide you toward emotional and mental well-being in your daily life.

Because our lives are so different, not everyone can get counseling or mental health care, but we can all access some of the services that make us feel better. We have compiled a list of resources for both parents and children. It is a dynamic resource that will continue to improve and evolve. As time goes on, more and more resources will be added to it. We hope that this guide is of some help to you. We all have mental health, just like we all have physical health. Sometimes we feel well, and sometimes we don’t. Mental health is complicated because it’s about how we think, feel and act, and this is constantly changing. When our mental health is good, we enjoy being around other people and can take on challenges and new experiences. But when our mental health is not so good, we can find it much harder to cope. Remember, if you’re struggling with how you think, feel or act, you are not alone; things can improve. You deserve all the help and support you need to feel confident and comfortable being yourself so that you can enjoy life.
