Overview

Reddit Talk lets you host live audio conversations in your subreddit. During our pilot, only moderators of select subreddits will be able to host Talks (sign up for our waitlist).

How Reddit Talk works

There are four types of users in a Talk:

1. Subreddit moderator: Has all host controls and can also ban people from the subreddit.
2. Host: Can invite speakers, mute speakers, remove users from the Talk, and end the Talk.
3. Speaker: Can speak and mute/unmute themselves.
4. Listener: Can raise their hand to speak.

Talks support up to 30 hosts and speakers and 100K+ listeners.
