Hey there! My name is Valeria Monrreal and I'm learning and documenting how to use some of the most powerful and popular tech tools for growing an online business. This month I'll be learning how to build up a website and applying tech tools every online business should be using. To show what I've learned I'm creating a how-to video and blog posts to follow up.
I decided to create an online demo business based around cooking where I will be applying the tools I will be learning. This landing page is a "one-stop-shop" to follow this journey with me. You will see the progress I will be making in the course of 30 days as well as all the troubles I run into along the way. Enjoy!
I decided to create an online demo business based on cooking/ recipes where I can showcase my marketing skills. I'm excited to learn new tech tools that can help me grow more business. For example, I wanted to learn software like Google Analytics because I believe it can be extremely useful to companies trying to market their business. With Google Analytics, you can track where your viewers are coming from, which can help businesses see what ads they're putting out are most successful.
The reason I decided to choose the theme of cooking is because my mom and I have been wanting to start a cookbook for the past couple of years. We keep saying that we are going to do it and we've written down a few recipes that we'd like to include in a draft book but that's as far as it's gone. So I figured this month I wanted to test the waters with an online cookbook and see how far I can go with it.

I decided to do this project so I can become more familiar with tech tools that will make me fit for a marketing or operations role. I wanted to challenge myself by relating it to my own personal life and actually creating a scenario where I'm marketing a "business" from the ground up.
