Section Overview

One of the primary focuses of this report is to analyze how University Entrepreneurship Centers (UECs) have adapted their programming from the 2019-20 academic year to 2020-21. While COVID-19 forced many UECs to shift Spring programming on the fly in Mid-March, this survey was intended to capture the conscious shift in planning between academic years. This section will cover critical questions about what UEC programming looks like for the 2020-21 academic year.

The data presented below stems from a N of 108 UECs that responded to the survey, unless otherwise specified.

Without further adieu, let's dive in!

1. There was no significant change in type of UEC programming ... except for Networking Events.

<aside> 🌟 The largest (albeit still small) increases in program utilization were Mentorship Platforms (69% ⇒ 73%) and - surprisingly - Incubator Space (48% ⇒ 52%).

Further Analysis

Overall, the type of programming that UECs offer didn't radically shift from 2019-20 to 2020-21 - they just shifted to a virtual format.
