Let’s talk about MY INSIGHTS in the Letterly Portal.

This is one of the features that sets Letterly apart because we don’t just give feedback — we break writing down into measurable skills. Our system analyzes each piece against clear standards, so students (and coaches) can see exactly where they’re growing and what to focus on next.

Knowledge Points

What are Knowledge Points?

Knowledge Points correspond to the Common Core Standards in the United States, covering the essential units of knowledge that students need to master in English Language Arts.

Each assignment is linked to a related set of reading and writing skills. Coaches score a student’s performance and mastery of those skills by grading the Knowledge Points.

On each assignment, students will be able to review which Knowledge Points their coach marked as “strengths” and which still “need improvement.” The overall grades on these Knowledge Points overtime help formulate the “Insights” page.
