In April ‘25 I announced my commitment to making a real Startup out of TheSummeet with the next ambitious goal: Zero to Revenue in 30 Days the name Is Meetball.
Then I shared these “Founding Memos” to outline the kind of organisation I’d like Meetball to start as and become. These notes are the basis on which we find people who resonate with the mission and help us realise it. They are the initial draft for discussion with the Team that will come together and build this startup. If you’re thinking of joining Meetball, start here:
If you are already a member of the Team and don’t yet have access to it, ask for access to the Private Repo where the internal work is done and discussed.
Meetball started with simple mission: Help people find the right contacts at large Tech events.
Through the MVP we unlocked a secret and tapped into something magical. We’re building the ultimate tool for helping people connect through shared intents. The antidote to lonely scrolling.
And we’re building it as an Open project: This means ANYONE who wants to help is welcome to contribute.
100 strangers built the MVP in 24 hours as a side gig during a Tech Conference.
On day 2 we rebranded in 24 hours because the conference organiser didn’t like that we called it “WebSummeet”.
On day 3 it was the talk of the conference, made headlines and got traction.
On our way to our first pitch night, we had a 1 mil USD EUR funding offer to actually build it.
