Hacker News had a really good thread where people shared their favorite MOOCs. I've compiled the ones that looked interesting to me as a reference to myself. It's hard to find good MOOCs, and a lot of the compilation blog posts aren't actually useful for deciding if you should do it, so I've included quotes from the thread from people who completed the courses. I think this helps a lot in deciding if a given MOOC is valuable enough to try out.

Most of these are CS/engineering related, but there's some interesting ones outside of those spheres like Songwriting and Buddhism and Modern Psychology that were heavily recommended. I've put the humanities/other sciences courses at the top for visiblity.
