How do I meal prep accurately without weighing every meal?

</aside>

Meal prep works best when you measure once, then simplify.

If you eat the same repeatable meal each day, you only need to weigh the food one time before cooking.

Example:

If one of your meals is:

– 6 oz chicken

– 1 cup rice

And you want to prep for 5 days:

– Measure 6 oz raw chicken Γ— 5 = 30 oz total

– Cook all 30 oz at once (bake, grill, boil, etc.)

– After cooking, split evenly into 5 containers (eyeballing is fine)

– You do not need to re-weigh each portion after it’s cooked

Once total weight is measured accurately, evenly dividing it keeps portions accurate.
