The LeanCodee no-code platform enables the creation of applications through a low-code platform. These applications include built-in scenarios developed using low-code tools. In addition, the platform offers no-code features, allowing software developers to create custom scenarios such as worksheets and pages without writing any code.
1. Application Is Platform
Starting from LeanCodee version 3.0.0, applications built using the design middle platform have been upgraded into a comprehensive no-code platform. This platform integrates key features such as worksheet design, form design, workflow and service flow, aligning with the capabilities of mainstream no-code platforms on the market. The no-code platform empowers application users to expand base applications and build business scenarios like warehouse management, procurement management, project management and employee performance management without writing a single line of code. It enables seamless data connectivity and flow within enterprises.
2. User Types
- Administrator: Built-in application administrator responsible for managing user accounts, permissions, organizational structure and system settings.
- Designer: Authorized to create application scenarios, design worksheets and publish worksheet views (tables) for application users.
- Application User: The end user who interacts with and uses the pages in application scenarios.
3. Core Features
- Application Scenarios: Application scenarios include those created by designers and those pre-configured by the system. ****System preset application scenarios are complex scenarios created by the middle platform, including user management, permission management, organizational structure, data dictionary and more.
- Worksheet: The core of the application scenario, it includes field design, form views, table views, workflows and service flows. Each worksheet corresponds to a database table.
- System Worksheet: For designers, the data model created by the middle platform can be regarded as a system-preset worksheet. The difference from a custom worksheet is that the system worksheet cannot be deleted or edited and the fields cannot be edited, but fields, form views, table views, workflows and service flows can be added to the system worksheet.
- Form View: Provided for the application users to add or edit worksheet records. It is created by designers by drag-and-drop.
- Table View: Provided for the application users to query worksheet records. Adding or editing records will open the corresponding form view that was configured and generated by the designer.
- Approval Flow: Enables approval workflow function for data records.
- Service Flow: Enables automation of data recording and business logic processing.
- Navigation: System navigation that includes the top navigation bar, left menu bar and more.
- Dashboard: Business data in worksheets can be converted into intuitive charts and statistical dashboards to help users monitor business status in real time, analyze data trends and support decision-making.
4. Summary
LeanCodee 3.0.0 truly enables layered collaboration and complementary strengths between technical and application users in the development of diverse application scenarios. Specifically, technical teams can leverage the low-code middle platform to develop complex scenario applications according to company specifications (writing code where necessary) and complete application releases and updates. On the other hand, application user can leverage the platform's codeless modules to independently develop simple application scenarios within their respective fields, configure approval processes and more. If application users encounter scenarios that are difficult to implement independently, they can entrust the technical team to extend the application through the low-code middle platform which forms an efficient and collaborative closed-loop development cycle.
