UI Developer at Brixel AG - Lisbon Office (2020–2025)
I contributed to building tools and dashboards using React and Redux in the early phase of the product, and later transitioned the codebase to Next.js/TypeScript for improved performance and scalability. My main responsibility was bridging design and development, ensuring visual consistency, maintaining component standards through our Storybook design system, and resolving any design discrepancies across the product. In early 2025, Brixel closed its operations in Portugal.
Our backend stack included Node.js and MongoDB, fully containerized with Docker. For design, we used Figma extensively, and I served as a key stakeholder in UX/UI decisions, helping shape user flows and translating design intent into high-quality interfaces.
