Book: Lone Wolf

Outline (v2)

Yesterday: Setting new intentions & goals

Warm up:

Ok, doing another warmup to get into the mood again. It's 2.15am - so starting this one a bit late, but better late than never. Observation, because I didn't get to write exactly at 11am, it's thrown off the momentum. So note to self - write at the same time every day, no matter what. Ok, I think i've written enough to get going.

Goal-Setting: Heart (Yin)

This section focuses on what we call "heart-centred goal-setting."

Using our Day 5 - Yin & Yang analogy, when it comes to goal-setting, we've observed people struggle between hard (head) and soft (heart) styles. While some are motivated by numbers and metrics, others may be more inclined to visuals and affirmations.

As a result, we offer both approaches in order to achieve a more balanced commitment (and reduce the resistance that may come with one style or the other).

In our Heart (Yin) approach, we cover 4 areas:

  1. Core feelings
  2. Visualizations
  3. Affirmations
  4. Identity statements

Each of these areas are designed to build on top of an initial intention (e.g. I want to lose weight). As you start moving through some of our exercises related to the above areas, you may find your goals/aims morph. That, or you will start to feel what it is that you're trying to achieve, as if it has already happened.

Let's dive in.
