Book: Lone Wolf

Outline (v2)

Warm-up:

Ok, time to get started on warm up. Currently writing from a bus. Doesn’t matter where you are, just make sure you get your words in. Pump up the creative juices. Think aloud. Be silly. Write things. Dance with words. Align with sentences. Today we’re going to dive into setting goals and intentions. There are many ways to do this, but we have a way that we know works for our members. Let’s begin.

Setting new intentions and goals

In this section, we’re going to talk a little about setting new intentions and goals.

Why is this important for lone wolves?

Because it helps you recalibrate. When setting new intentions, you need to ensure your mind and attitudes are aligned. By doing so, you help begin the journey towards getting back on track. You wipe your thought processes of what has gone - by acknowledging and accepting - then moving forward on more solid footing.

The problem with traditional goal-setting

Over the years, we’ve found that a lot of our members have struggled with goal-setting and planning. There are various reasons for this but, most of the time, we’ve found that the issues have often been:

  1. Not being able to say no to things
  2. Being busy but not productive
  3. Priorities (vs time) management
